The term Lagamar refers to the geographic character of the region, where numerous rivers descend from the mountains and meet the sea, interwoven with channels, islands, and sandbanks, forming a striking and diverse landscape. It is within the Lagamar Portal that the Ribeira de Iguape River completes its journey to the ocean, flowing into the Mar Pequeno. <\/p>\n\n
