The Atlantic Forest Great Reserve is a group initiative, a cooperation among various, local, conservation-oriented institutions, whose goal is to promote a sensible, sustainable development of this wonderful region. These institutions enthusiastically share their support of regional development that keeps in mind the conservation of the local diversity, both biological and cultural.

Among the most important sources of funding for conservation research in Brazil. For nearly 30 years, the Boticário Group has actively been fighting to make biodiversity conservation a priority for both business and politics in Brazil, and as a solution to many of the challenges facing society today.
Institutions & Other Initiatives
ADETUR Litoral
Private non-profit entity that represents the tourist trade in the coast of the State of Paraná. Founded in 2006 and recognized as of Municipal and State public utility, its mission is to promote and support responsible tourism, developing sustainable actions that increase the associativism and competitiveness of the “Litoral do Paraná”, a touristic destination.
Associação Parque do ZIZO - APAZ
NGO created in 1998 to manage the Zizo Park Project, private reserve dedicated to protecting 400 acres of primary Atlantic Forest in São Miguel Arcanjo, in the State of Sao Paulo. The institution is responsible for several local actions in defense of education, culture, and other social matters, in addition to having partnerships with several national and international organizations.
Terra Luminous
Terra Luminous is an institute of environmental conservation and social transformation located in the middle of the forest, in Juquitiba, 44 miles from the capital of Sao Paulo. The institute is also on the edge of the Serra do Mar State Park – the largest biological corridor of Atlantic Forest in the country.

Coritiba Foot Ball Club
Coritiba Foot Ball Club is a Brazilian sport club based on Curitiba, Paraná. Founded in October 12 1909, it is one of the most popular clubs in the state of Paraná, one of the most traditional from the South of Brazil and winner of the Brazilian football championship – Campeonato Brasileiro.
Ekôa Park
Another private area for environmental preservation, Ekôa Park comprises 238 hectares in Morretes, Paraná, at the feet of the Graciosa Mountains. Here environmental education is transformed into ecological experiences that sensitize and entertain tourists, schools and business, to come away with a better understanding of their natural heritage.
Ekoways - Tourism and Sustainability
Provides trilingual tourist guide services (CADASTUR) that specialize in nature conservation and environmental education. We develop sustainable tourist plans, therapeutic tourism, and community-based tourism, and can provide private tours for groups of up to six people. We provide workshops, seminars, development and consulting for Zero Garbage certification in tourist establishments.
